I’m traveling to Ho Chi Minh City with Royal Brunei (connecting flight). Now, I have an uncancelled employment contract there in Brunei (my employer refused to cancel it), and the re-entry visa was already expired. Flying with RBA will take almost a day to wait for the connecting flight to Ho Chi Minh. My concern, will I get the chop (as tourist)?/ or allowed to get out of the airport to take rest in a hotel? I have lived and worked in the U K for over 43 years. Now my wife and I are retired couple ( no children), and live in Pakistan. I have dual nationality ( British and Pakistan ), my wife did live and worked in the U K but did not apply for British Nationality, and therefore, she only has Pakistani Nationality.
Our source of income is our pension from the U K, and some investment in Pakistan.

We are Gading Enterprise and we have helped several people on their intention of migrating to Brunei.
Brunei will award the citizenship to about 200-250 people a year. And 45-50 of them are registering through our service. And normally 40-50% of them are approved. Not all can be approved. I’m telling you frankly.
Outsiders/foreigners like outside Malaysia, are quite hard to get the citizenship of Brunei if they register on their own without recommendation from company like us for there shall be an Exam of their language which quite similar to Malay language. After/If the citizenship is approved and succeed, the family will stay in Brunei for at least 5 years without living Brunei at all.
It’s limited to 20 registration in a month which not all will be approved (frankly) and that’s make 240 registration we made in a year. The award shall be held in the end of every year.
